It’s funny to create posts with so few photos. This was another fabulous day of birding but not a good day for photographs. Lazuli bunting Cedar waxwing Yellow headed blackbird

Once again we heard a lot of birds, but they didn’t want to pose These gorgeous prickly pear cacti were willing to hold still
Bullock’s oriole American goldfinch Not a lot of photos but plenty of birds. We started using the song recognition function on Merlin to help us with identifying what we hear. This is not a lure but an identification tool.
