Once again we heard a lot of birds, but they didn’t want to pose These gorgeous prickly pear cacti were willing to hold still
Bullock’s oriole American goldfinch Not a lot of photos but plenty of birds. We started using the song recognition function on Merlin to help us with identifying what we hear. This is not a lure but an identification tool.

Almost every spring I get a large flock of Cedar waxwings eating overripe juniper berries and having parties. This year they were not photo shy. Photos taken 2/4/23 He’s so fluffy!
