I finally made it to the World Center For Birds of Prey just outside of Boise (5668 W Flying Hawk Ln, Boise, ID 83709). This center is one of the Peregrine fund sites rehabilitating, conserving, and releasing raptors of all kinds. It has a large education mission along with a great library and museum. I definitely recommend a visit. You can check out their Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/WorldCenterForBirdsOfPrey/ Most of the birds behind bars are there because of injuries. A couple are there for breeding programs.

How cool. How did they score a condor?

I believe they are involved in the breeding/repopulation program. There were two males in the aviary and soon a female was going to make a visit.
