I have been very lucky to be able to go to Alaska on occasion. May 18, 2012 my Melinda and I visited our friend Arlene and she took us on a grand adventure, driving from Valdez to Anchorage. We saw so many amazing things but one of my favorites was of a Caribou which elicited a certain amount of shouting Caribou! while slamming on (okay it wasn’t really slamming but it sounds better this way) of brakes. These are magical creatures.
