Looking for more desert birds
Yesterday at the Bear River Refuge I fell into conversation with a fellow adventurer. This gentleman goes out to photograph the wild horses in Utah on a regular basis and was very familiar with the roads to Fish Springs NWR. He not only gave me a verbal ‘go here, stop there’ precis but when I pulled out my DeLorme Atlas and Gazetteer for Utah he showed me the roads and place to check for wild horses. So we started the morning armed with a plan.
The only wild horse we spotted
