Prior to the rodeo there was a Mini Bronc Riding competition with bold youngsters:

Then there were the opening ceremonies. It included this beautiful and somewhat frisky team of horses
More opening ceremonies with the flags coming in and the Rodeo Queens riding. There are Rodeo Queens of all ages.
Fancy rodeo clothes on a young cowgirl. I would have done almost anything to be this at her age.
