On Saturday some friends (Shanna, Bill, & John) and I drove over the mountains and through the woods to Jackson Hole WY. We went to enjoy the fall scenery, and go through some of the many art galleries. The drive was truly gorgeous.
Our first real stop was near Ririe ID. There’s a rest stop above the river that commands an amazing view.
We pulled off the road to take in the views…
The weather was damp and misty with occasional bits of rain and snow
Okay, more than a bit of snow near the top of the pass
After visiting the galleries we drove out toward the Grand Teton National Park.
The late autumn colors were gorgeous
I really love the gold color on the Quaking Aspens
There were many, many ravens, and I was lucky and happy to find this one posing.
I’m still learning how to force this camera to focus on the correct object. This is still a little fuzzy, but considering how far away the Moose was, I’m fairly happy with it.
The drive home was a little warmer and drier
