I drove down to Spanish Fork on Thursday so I could spend time with Jessica and beat the snowstorm heading Idaho’s direction. Friday morning was bright and sunny and my car was covered in snow. I took a picture and posted it to Instagram mentioning that I was heading to Grand Junction.
I stopped in Helper at my favorite rock shop: Utah’s Treasures, 520 N Main St Helper, Utah. It was awesome! I found lovely amethyst and other crystals along with smudge kits that included raven feathers and abalone shells. Then back on the road.
About 30 minutes later I get this call from my sister Nanette who lives in Texas. Nan asks if I’m really heading to Grand Junction. Yes I replied. Well, she’s on her way to Grand Junction, can we meet there?
Holy smokes!
Erika chose the restaurant (Cafe Sol http://www.cafesolgj.com/ 420 Main St, Grand Junction, CO) and we pull up at almost the same moment. It’s a small, crazy world. I had lunch with my nieces Erika and Sydney and my sister Nanette. So much awesome. I love my family.
