I had a great birdy year.  Mostly I saw the birds of the intermountain west.  Hooray, I got to see 13 new species thanks to Arlene and a trip to Nome AK: American tree sparrows, Arctic warblers, Bartail godwit, Bluethroat, Common eider, Eastern yellow wagtails, Fox sparrows – taiga race, Gray cheeked thrush, Long tailed jaegers, Pacific golden plovers, Rock ptarmigan, Wandering tattler, and a White wagtail.
