First there was the need to find parking. I’ve not seen so little parking near the farmers market. I had to park 5 blocks away. Then there was the waiting.
Then the event started, and poof it was over
But HORSES! I have loved the Budweiser Clydesdales for years.
I was using the wrong lens. I had brought the one at rodeos, but it was too much telephoto for the job at hand. And I didn’t have the smaller lens in my pocket. Still I made it work in the parking lot where the Clydesdales were posing.

Of course I had no idea you were going to send these yesterday while I was cooking. In my mind I was thinking, ” I wonder if there is a place where you can find jokes about horses ‘so why the long face?'” and horses kept going merry go around in my mind. I love them too, when they used to come to town we would hurry not to miss out! Thanks for these, they are wonderful! So beautiful, stately, powerful.
