I always enjoy the Weber State rodeo in Ogden. The plus side includes the indoor arena, how close it is to Pocatello, the nearby birding (Bear River Refuge) and the shopping. The minus side includes the indoor arena. For personal comfort I like indoor arenas where the rain and the wind cannot get you. But, the lighting is usually less than ideal for taking photos. I still managed to get a few good ones.

After completing their turn contestants regularly hang out with their horses in the arena in case someone else has a problem with a mount and needs a different one. Tis is the only event where horses are allowed to remain in the arena.
