Friday & Saturday April 12 & 13
The Friday performance was a great deal of fun, though very, very cold. Hooray for Melisa who brought out her little buddy (a portable propane fuel heater). We stayed late because of barrel racing slack. I probably got back to my hotel around 11:00.
Unfortunately, maybe, slack started at 8:00 a.m. This is really, really early and meant it was cold, but the sun came out and while the temps were never warm the sun sure made it nice.
The final rodeo on Saturday was also early, 4:00 p.m. which meant really great light and much warmer than the Friday perf.
The rodeo is always fun and the ISU student athletes are always impressive.
